Welcome
Narraweena's Trusted Local Electricians
Narraweena's name comes from the local Aboriginal word for "a quiet place in the hills," and the suburb still carries a strong Italian community heritage through its Santo Salvatore festivities each year. Our sparkies are NSW-licensed (licence #452529C) and Master Electricians Australia members, servicing every pocket of the suburb.
Every job starts with a written quote, so the price we quote is the price you pay. No hourly meters, no nasty invoice.

What Older Narraweena Homes Need from a Sparkie
Narraweena filled in after the war, with fibro and brick-veneer cottages going up on wide blocks subdivided from the early 1950s and a big wave of public housing through the 1960s and 1970s.
Plenty of those original homes are still here, sitting beside the renovated and rebuilt places that arrived as the suburb gentrified.
That mix is the whole story electrically.
The original cottages were wired for a modest 1960s household: a few lights, a couple of power points, an electric stove. Today the same house runs split air conditioning, a car charger in the carport, an induction cooktop and a laundry full of appliances.
The small original supply simply cannot keep up, which is why so many boards on streets like McIntosh Road and Alfred Street are being upgraded to carry modern loads.
When a family finally renovates or extends, the walls come open and the ageing wiring behind them comes to light. That is the moment to bring a house up to current standards rather than patch around it.
We know these homes because we work in them every week, from the fibro cottages near Beverley Job Park to the double-brick rebuilds a street over. The housing stock tells us what we will find before we lift the switchboard cover.
When You Need an Emergency Electrician
A handful of these problems need a call straight away, not a slot next week. If you spot one below, switch off at the board if it's safe, then get in touch.
- A hot, melting-plastic odour near a power point, switch or the switchboard
- Sparks, or scorch marks around an outlet or a light fitting
- The whole house dead when the street still has power
- Repeated tripping on a safety switch, even right after you reset it
- Lights flickering or dimming in more than one room at the same time
- No hot water on a cold morning, often an ageing element or its circuit giving out
If the whole street is dark, that's an outage on Ausgrid's network, not your wiring. Anything past the switchboard on your side is still ours to sort, so call (02) 9134 9029 for an emergency electrician, day or night.
How we work
Our Process Keeps You in the Loop
No mystery, no radio silence. We keep you posted the whole way through, so nothing about the job or the bill catches you off guard.
- 01
Tell Us What Is Going On
Tell us what's gone wrong when you call. A real person answers the phone, books a slot that suits you, and we text a heads-up the day before we're due.
- 02
We Quote It in Writing
Our electrician sizes up the job on the spot and hands you a fixed written price before we start. That price holds even if the work takes more time than expected.
- 03
The Work Gets Done Properly
Drop sheets down and the place left tidy, premium Clipsal and Hager switchgear fitted, every cable run neat and labelled. When we go, you won't know we were ever there.
- 04
Test, Certify, Hand Over
We test every circuit, issue your Certificate of Compliance, and explain what was done in plain English. Ask us anything before we pack up the van.
Why So Many Locals Choose Us
Narraweena is a family suburb, and most people want an electrician they can call on again in five years, getting exactly the same standard of work. That's what we're built for: careful, do-it-once jobs, not a quick in-and-out.
One homeowner, John, said the job was tidy, there was no fuss, and our quote held up well against the others he had.
We Turn Up When We Say
We give you a realistic arrival window and a call if anything changes, never a vague "sometime this week". You get a time that works, and we stick to it.
The Work Is Guaranteed for Life
If our workmanship ever lets you down, we'll sort it again at our cost, not yours. A 12-month product warranty sits on top of that.
No Call-Out Fee to Get a Quote
There's no charge for a quote, and you get it in writing every time, so you're never paying just to have us come and look. You decide once you've seen the price in full.
Backed by 600+ Five-Star Reviews
We have earned more than 600 five-star reviews from Sydney homeowners, built one tidy job at a time. That standard only holds if every customer becomes a customer for life.
How we compare
Compare Us to the Typical Sparkie

Safe and Compliant on Every Job
There's no room for shortcuts when it's live wiring in your home. We work to keep every job safe, pass inspection, and back it with paperwork that proves it.
Every Circuit Meets AS/NZS 3000
We install and repair to the AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules, the national standard. On our jobs it is not optional, ever.
Licensed and Fully Insured
NSW-licensed electricians, fully insured, and we stand behind every job that leaves our van. If anyone tells you a licence doesn't matter, walk away.
A Certificate of Compliance on Completion
For any notifiable work, you get paperwork proving the job was wired to code and lodged correctly. Keep it with your house documents.
Safety Switches on the Circuits That Need Them
Where your board is missing RCDs, we fit modern safety switches to cut power the moment a fault reaches you. It's the cheapest safety upgrade going.

Common questions
Frequently Asked Questions
A few things homeowners ask before they book, and if yours isn't listed, just give us a call. We're happy to talk it through, no obligation.
Is my old switchboard dangerous?
An old ceramic fuse board is not automatically dangerous, but it protects you far less than a modern one, and plenty of Narraweena's post-war homes still run one with no safety switch. We will inspect it and give you a straight answer.
Do you do small jobs like a single power point?
Absolutely, nothing is too small: one dodgy power point, a flickering switch, a single dead light, and no call-out fee just to quote it. Small jobs are how a lot of our customers first meet us.
What electrical services do you offer?
General residential electrical, top to bottom: switchboards, lighting, fault finding, power points, ceiling fans, rewires and EV chargers, plus smoke alarm compliance. We also handle data cabling and Level 2 accredited work on the local network.
Can you install an EV charger at home?
Yes. We fit a properly rated charger on its own dedicated circuit, and first check whether your switchboard has the capacity for the extra draw, which on an older home sometimes means upgrading the board at the same time.
How quickly can an electrician arrive in Narraweena?
For genuine emergencies, a licensed sparkie will get you safe over the phone straight away, and we prioritise getting to you fast. For standard jobs, we are often already nearby in Dee Why or Brookvale, so it is rarely a long trip.
Do I get a Certificate of Compliance after the work?
Yes. On any notifiable electrical work you get a Certificate of Compliance, showing the job met standard and was lodged with NSW Fair Trading, worth keeping with your house papers for when you sell or renovate.
